Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.  By registering for a course or utilising our services, you agree to these terms.

Terms and Conditions

A. Welcome to the SAGL Learning Management System

a. By agreeing to these terms, you also give consent to the following policies Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, and Website Terms of Use.

b. If your participation in the online course is being paid for by a third
party/employer, then the third party is bound by all provisions in these terms.

 

c.  IMPORTANT NOTE: THE ONLINE COURSES OFFERED BY THE SAGL ARE NOT-CREDIT BEARING AND NOT ACCREDITED

 

b. accessing the SAGL Online Courses

a. Students can register for any online course through the registration links available on our Website

b. To participate and successfully complete the online courses, you require a registered email account, access to a computer/laptop/tablet and a stable internet connection.  You should be able to read documents in Adobe PDF Reader, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations as well as follow links to social media channels eg Youtube. You must also be able to use Microsoft Excel and Word software.

c. Should the course involve a practical component, the student will be required to make a booking for in-person training through the booking portal.  Bookings will only be allowed upon completion of the theory section of the course.  In-person training will take place at the SAGL building.

d.  All information supplied by you during registration must be accurate and true, and you are responsible to inform us of any changes in your information.

 

e. These courses are intended only for persons over the age of 18.

C. SAGL Online Course Fees

a. You would not be able to commence with an online course if the course have not been paid for.

b. When you purchase a course, you hereby agree to an invoice that shall be sent to you in electronic format, to the email you supplied on registration.

 

c. Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE) on our Website for price listings, product descriptions, or other documents that may contain mistakes or may not include some details.

D. Cancellations and Refunds

a.   Cancellation of a purchased course, is subject to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa, and the extended stipulations of this policy.
b.    A cancellation must be made known in writing or any other recorded manner and form, within five (5) business days after the later date on which the course was purchased. Contact the SAGL Management at info@sagl.co.za to discuss your reason for cancellation.
c.   The refund process (within the cooling-off period within five (5) business days) is concluded within fifteen (15) working days. Should you cancel after the cooling-off period but within fourteen (14) working days, it is subject to evaluation by the SAGL Management to determine any possibility of a partial refund.
d.   After the cooling-off period, you will not be entitled to a full refund.  Any refund arrangement, in this case, is at the discretion of the SAGL Management.
e.   The refund, where applicable, is processed onto the same means paid for it, or to an account agreed to in writing. 

E. Course Delivery

a.   The language of instruction and administration for all SAGL online courses are ENGLISH. All coursework that is required for assessment purposes must be written in ENGLISH.
 
b.   Each online course consists of several lessons and topics.  All course-related documentation can be accessed on the online course platform.
 
c.   You may receive communication by email by SAGL representatives for course administration purposes, including reminders of bookings and assignments.
 
d.   Only students who have purchased an online course may participate in that course.  You may not provide your username or password to any other person, may not permit any other person to participate in the course on your behalf, and may not impersonate any other person in dealing with the SAGL Learning Management System using another user’s username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, our technical support (info@sagl.co.za) will assist you to change your password in your student profile.

F. Student Support

a.   Course Instructors are available to students via email (info@sagl.co.za) from Monday to Friday 08h00 to 16h30 (GMT +2) excluding weekends and South African Public Holidays.

G. SAGL Certificate of Attendance

a.   On successful completion of your online course, the SAGL will award you with an electronic SAGL Certificate of Attendance.  It is issued in your legal name, provided to us during the registration process.
